Corplum ("we") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect on this website (corplum.com), why, for how long, and what your rights are. It applies to the current landing site; a companion policy specific to the mobile app will be published before the beta launches and will cover profile, location, and photo data.
This policy is written to comply with Quebec's Law 25 on the protection of personal information in the private sector, Canada's PIPEDA, and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for our visitors in France and the European Union.
1. Who is responsible for your data?
Corplum currently operates as an individual project, not yet registered as a business, run by {to be announced}, {to be announced}, reachable at admin@corplum.com. This section will be updated if Corplum becomes a registered legal entity.

We never ask for a password, payment details, or sensitive information on this landing site.
3. Legal basis and consent
Collecting your email relies on your explicit consent, given via an unchecked checkbox specific to this purpose. You may withdraw this consent at any time by writing to us or using the unsubscribe link in our emails.
4. How long do we keep your data?
Your email is kept until the beta opens and you either sign up for the app or not, up to 24 months of inactivity, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first.
5. Where is your data hosted?
The site is hosted by HostGator.com, LLC — 5005 Mitchelldale St Ste 100, Houston, TX 77092-7244, USA. Beta signups are stored in Firebase (Google Cloud), whose servers may be located outside Quebec, including in the United States. In accordance with Law 25, a privacy factor assessment is carried out before any transfer of personal information outside Quebec, to make sure it receives equivalent protection.
6. Sharing with third parties
We do not sell or rent your data to anyone. It may be processed by our technical providers (hosting, Firebase/Google Cloud infrastructure) solely to run the service, under contracts requiring them to protect it.
7. Cookies
The site uses strictly necessary cookies (remembering your language, remembering your cookie choice) and, with your consent, privacy-friendly analytics cookies. Full details in our cookie policy.
8. Your rights
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, or withdraw consent, anytime by writing to admin@corplum.com. If you live in Quebec and believe your rights weren't respected, you may file a complaint with the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec. In Canada, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada also has jurisdiction. If you live in the European Union, you may contact the CNIL or your local data protection authority.
9. Minors
This site and the Corplum app are not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us information, please write to us and we will remove it promptly.
10. Security
We apply reasonable measures (HTTPS encryption, restricted database access, Firestore security rules) to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, especially as the app launch approaches. The last-updated date appears at the top of this page. Significant changes will be emailed to you if you're on the beta list.
